Kyle Did I know that I needed a slowed down version of this album? Nope. But I'm glad it's in my life as I'm all the better for it. I didn't think it was possible to make this album sound nastier and more brutal, but here we are. Favorite track: Fang (33rpm).

Donk That's a bit cheeky, I thought, when it was revealed that the next Holy Roar sub album was an album I already owned slowed down to 33rpm.

Then I listened to it and now everything has been replaced by treacle and all buildings are falling over in slow motion.

Crushingly heavy and filthy. A very happy accident. Favorite track: They Never Spoke (33rpm).

Dan In its original form, ITHOAAG is an absolutely astounding slab of noise, but this? This slowed down version is the very epitome of filth; I think I like it more than the original, weird as that may sound! Unreal stuff. Favorite track: Derelict (33rpm).

about

This was originally a subscriber exclusive, but with the dissolution of Holy Roar, we thought we'd make it available to everyone. Inspired by the work of iconic Houston artist DJ Screw, this is the incredible full-length from Throes, only slower, and even more disgusting. RIP DJ Screw. Live every day like June 27th.
